Why "Ranked Choice"?
Traditional voting often splits the vote. If 10 scouts want "Camping" and 8 want "Hiking", but the 10 camping votes are split between "Winter Camping" (5) and "Summer Camping" (5), then Hiking wins with just 8 votes—even though 10 people wanted some form of camping!
