Flagpole
A tall flagpole with guy lines for flying your troop or patrol flag.

Materials Needed
- 1 tall pole (10-15 ft) for the flagpole
- 3 medium poles (4-5 ft) for stakes
- Guy line rope (50-75 ft total)
- Flag and halyard (rope for raising/lowering)
Step-by-Step Instructions

Prepare the Pole
Attach a pulley or create a loop at the top of the flagpole for the halyard.

Attach Guy Lines
Tie three guy lines to the pole about 2/3 up using clove hitches, spaced evenly around the pole.

Raise the Pole
With helpers holding guy lines, raise the pole and place the base in a hole or secure it to the ground.

Stake Guy Lines
Stake each guy line at a 45-degree angle from the pole using taut-line hitches for adjustment.
