Step-by-Step Instructions

    Start with a timber hitch around both poles

    Make 3-4 wraps around the poles in one direction

    Make 3-4 wraps in the opposite direction, forming an X

  4. 4

    Add 2-3 frapping turns between the poles

  5. 5

    Finish with a clove hitch
